Role and Responsibilities
The Inventory Associate is responsible for carrying out the accuracy of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and installation schedules.
- Follow and enable a culture where Arizona Home and Appliance Core Values come to life.
- Safely, accurately, and timely receiving of product.
- Inspect returned merchandise and process according to company standards.
- Track incoming and outgoing products
- Provide inventory control reports as required.
- Maintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting).
- Updating database with incoming and outgoing products.
- Maintain safety while using equipment and tools
- Dispose of obsolete inventory as directed.
- Use technology to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
- Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident-free.
- Associates will be working as part of a small team but should be able to work independently
- Communicate effectively across areas of the business (order service, customer service) to solve customers’ needs.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent education
- Prior warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is required.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
- Data entry and computer skills required, along with proficiency in Office 365
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in the Appliance Industry (sales or operations)
Additional Notes
This position is partially based in warehouse with traveling across the warehouse and adverse climate conditions may occur and partially in an office, sitting and ability to use a computer is required.
