Role and Responsibilities
The Inventory Shipping and Billing Clerk is responsible for monitoring and shipping all outgoing orders, creating and or approving overhead labor purchasing orders to pay 3rd party installation companies, and maintaining all data related to these orders.
- Follow and enable a culture where Arizona Home and Appliance Core Values come to life.
- Process and ship all orders within 24 hours of them leaving the shipping dock.
- Create and process return tickets
- Verify inventory.
- Create backorder tickets when orders are unable to ship due to stock issues and notify all appropriate parties via email.
- Responsible for managing billing and invoicing processes for 3rd party subcontractors, including collecting documentation to generating overhead purchase orders, resolving billing issues, and maintaining accurate billing records.
- Maintain a clean and neat workspace to help keep our facility safe and accident free.
- Associates will be working as part of a small team but should be able to work independently.
- Communicate daily with delivery and installation teams, such as handling inaccurate products that’s been shipped, damaged products coming back, and potential re-deliveries.
- Professional communication between departments to resolve inventory/billing issues.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent education
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
- Data entry and computer skills required, along with proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, & Word)
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in the Appliance Industry (sales or operations)
Additional Notes
This position is partially based in warehouse and adverse climate conditions may occur and partially in an office, sitting and ability to use a computer is required.
